Hi, I’m Cynthia, the heart and hands behind ROSE + RITUAL Botanicals.
What started as a personal journey to rebuild myself and care for my family grew into a deep love for creating clean, non-toxic products and learning how to support the body as a whole.
Today, I create every product myself from the research and formulation to carefully crafting each batch by hand. Each one is made with intention and honesty, using ingredients I trust and believe in because I use them on my own family every day.
I’ve learned that caring for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. And sometimes, it begins with the simplest things: the products you use, the moments you take, and the reminder that you deserve care, too.

Why I Started
ROSE + RITUAL Botanicals was born from a deeply personal place, a season of my life where I realized I had spent so many years giving to everyone else that I had forgotten how to give to myself.
After welcoming more babies, navigating postpartum depression, and pushing through years of burnout, I began to see how disconnected I’d become from who I wanted to be. I was still creating, always making, always doing, but none of it was for me. I wasn’t doing the things that brought me joy anymore or allowed me to grow. I had lost the space to simply be me.
I wasn’t caring for myself mentally, physically, or spiritually. I was surviving, not living.
Even after losing my job, I didn’t truly slow down. I stepped back into work quickly. I opened a home bakery. I kept pushing forward, telling myself this was just what driven people do.
But about a year or two into running the bakery, I started to feel it more clearly.
It was draining me.
What had once felt like passion no longer felt aligned. My body felt it. My mind felt it. I was still working constantly, still creating, still showing up but I wasn’t fulfilled. If anything, the burnout felt heavier.
That’s when I had to stop and really ask myself hard questions.
What do I actually like?
What genuinely interests me?
What did I love before I became everything for everyone else?
Who was I - outside of what I did?
And then the questions got deeper.
Why was I so angry?
Why did I feel constantly tired?
Why had my anxiety become so loud?
Why did I feel the way I did when, on paper, everything looked fine?
Those questions were uncomfortable. But they were necessary.
They forced me to look beyond my schedule and into my nervous system, my stress levels, my environment, and the pace I had been living at for years.
At the same time, I found myself returning to something that had always grounded me —nature. Gardening. Herbs. The quiet work of creating things with my hands.
Over the years, I had made herbal remedies like elderberry syrup, garlic honey, and fire cider for my family. And every time I did, I felt a little more like myself again.
I also began learning just how many of our everyday products and foods are filled with synthetic ingredients and chemicals that slowly wear down our health, things I had never questioned before. That realization shifted everything for me. It made me want to live closer to nature and create products I could truly feel good about using for myself and my family.
That’s when I began creating botanical products designed to support the body in a more intentional way.
I wanted products that were truly clean, whether for the skin or overall wellness, not filled with synthetic fragrance, unnecessary additives, or harsh ingredients. I wanted something effective, safe for my babies, and nourishing for myself. And I wanted to trust what was in it.
ROSE + RITUAL Botanicals became my way of bringing all of that together, my love for creating, my desire to help people, and my belief that nature provides the best care when we learn to listen.
It’s not just a brand. It’s part of my healing.
A reminder that caring for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary.
And it’s my hope that every product I create helps others find a little more calm, connection, and confidence in their own daily lives.

My mission is to help people feel cared for, supported, and confident in what they’re using by creating products that are truly clean, effective, and made with integrity.
Through ROSE + RITUAL Botanicals, I want to bring transparency and trust back into skincare and wellness. So many of the products and foods we use every day are filled with toxins, synthetic ingredients, and harsh chemicals that quietly affect our health and well-being. I’ve seen how much better our bodies respond when we return to simple, natural care, the kind that works with us, not against us.
Every product I create is made with pure ingredients that serve a purpose: to nourish, soothe, protect, or restore. Nothing more, nothing less.
ROSE + RITUAL is about helping people reconnect to what’s real, to nature, to themselves, and to the belief that caring for your body and your family should feel safe, honest, and empowering.
